Course Description
Wexford is a sharp right handed rectangular track with a short run in of just over a furlong. There are 5 fences and 4 hurdles on the circuit.
Facilities
The Long Bar
Where all the wheeling, dealing, gossiping, scandalising and singing goes on! The Parade Ring and the Bookies' Area
are right outside the bar!
Supporters' Bar
For the many loyal Supporters. The last word in convenience - you can almost collect your betting slip by reaching your hand out the door! Needless to say you have to be a Supporter to drink in here. Cafeteria
This cafeteria serves tea, coffee, soft drinks, sandwiches and hot snacks.
The Ivy Bar & Restaurant
Located at the far corner of the Parade Ring is the very convenient Ivy Room Bar. You really will not get any closer
to the track than this and still be able to order a pint! A spacious carvery restaurant is situated here serving full
meals all during racing.
Directions
By Road:
Wexford race course is located 1km from Wexford town on the main Waterford road opposite the County Hospital.
Leave the N25 at the New Ross roundabout (Quality Hotel) and travel towards Wexford town.
The racecourse is 1 km on the right.
By Rail:
The nearest railway station is in Wexford town, from where there is a taxi service to the racecourse.
Regular rail service from Dublin is available.
