Course Description

The oval shaped tight course is run right handed and is 1 mile 4 furlongs in distance. There are nine fences per lap of the course.

The Members Enclosure
Day Member badge holders have exclusive use of the Members Grandstand. On the first floor of the stand is the Bevan's Bar this offers great views of the whole racecourse and parade ring. The Lenton's Bar is on the ground floor and offers a wide variety of snacks. There is also the Peterborough Chase Restaurant.

The Paddock Enclosure
By far the most popular enclosure and the largest. There is an excellent view of racing, with an open ditch fence directly opposite the enclosure and the finishing post. You also have access to the parade ring and winners enclosure. Bars include the Gifford's Bar and Smith Eccles Bar. You also have access to the Hurdles Restaurant and the Champagne and Seafood Bar.

The Picnic Car Park
This car park is open for all bank holiday, Saturday, Sunday and evening meetings. You can drive your car right up to the running rails of the course for an excellent view of racing. Picnics and BBQ's are very welcome. Fast food and snacks can also be purchased. There is also children's entertainment, usually in the form of a mini fairground.

By road
Huntingdon Racecourse is situated half a mile off the A1, on the A14, the A1/M1 link road that joins the M11 at Cambridge. This allows easy access from the West Midlands and the East Coast, as well as for visitors from both the North and South.

By Rail
Huntingdon Railway Station is on the main line from London Kings Cross and is approximately one and a half miles from the Racecourse.
