Course Description
Tipperary is a left handed oval of 1 1/4 miles with run in of 2 1/2 furlongs. There are 6 hurdles and 6 fences on circuit.
Facilities
The Istabraq Bar
This houses Harney's On-course betting shop as well as a hot-beef roll stand & Tote counter.
It can cater for up to 300 patrons.
Self Service Restaurant
The main dining area located under the Limerick stand. It serves a wide range of foods and beverages.
High Chaparral Dining Room
This recently refurbished dining room is located on the first floor of the Limerick stand overlooking the parade ring
and home straight. It has panoramic views of the course and the Silver mine Mountains.

By Road:
Tipperary Racecourse is located on the main Limerick - Waterford Road (N24) only 2 miles from Tipperary Town.
By Rail:
Tipperary Racecourse is unique in Ireland in that it is the only racecourse adjacent to a railway station.
Limerick Junction railway station is a mere 5 minute walk from the track.
