Course Description
The circular course is run left handed and is 1 mile in distance. The surface is level and it has tight bends.
Facilities
The County Stand Enclosure
You have access to the Paddock, Winners Enclosure and Parade Ring area.
The County Stand Restaurant serves a Table d'hote menu. The Concourse Room has a variety of bars and food outlets.
The Long Room serves snacks and refreshments.
The Tattersalls Enclosure
This enclosure offers superb views of the Racecourse. There are a variety of bars
and catering outlets selling food and snacks on two floors of this stand. Holders of Tattersalls Badges also have
access to the Paddock and Parade Ring area, where both The Pavilion Bar and The Champagne Bar are situated.
The Dee Stand
This enclosure provides excellent facilities. Race goers can enjoy a wide variety
of snacks and drinks.
The Open Course Enclosure
Ideal for picnics, there are also bars and fast food outlets in this enclosure.
Directions
By road:
The M53, M56, M6 and A483 are all in close proximity to Chester providing excellent links from Liverpool,
Manchester, North Wales and the south of England. The Racecourse is signed from all the major routes into Chester
on race days.
By rail:
The station is 20-30 minutes walk from the Racecourse through the picturesque
Chester city centre.
By Air:
Please call 01244 522 012/3 Hawarden airport, Deeside for Helicopter / light
aircraft landing facilities. Helicopters are allowed to land on the racecourse
by prior consent with the Racecourse only.
