Course Description

The oval course is 1 mile 5 furlongs in length run right-handed. The bends are fairly tight.

Facilities

The Tattersalls Enclosure

Fountains Café is a Self service restaurant with a choice of hot and cold food. The Wakeman Baris the main bar with sandwiches and coffee also available. Jim Joel Bar serves draught beer with snacks available. There is also a Fish 'n' Chip Shop.

The Members Enclosure

Members Dining Room has a full waitress menu, lunch and afternoon tea. The Paddock Room is Self service, with a choice of light snacks and sandwiches. There is also the St Wilfrid Ba,r main members enclosure bar, Champagne Bar with seafood specialities available throughout the day.

Directions

By Road
Approaching from the South, leave the A1 at the turning to Ripon, which is just before Boroughbridge, and follow the brown signs for Ripon Cathedral. The Racecourse is on the left after about 4 miles.
Approaching from the North, leave the A1 where it is joined by A61 which becomes the Ripon bypass. Turn left at the third roundabout and the racecourse is just a few hundred yards on the right.
Approaching either from the East or the West, take the A61 to the Ripon bypass and follow the brown signs to the racecourse.

The nearest stations are York (27 miles), Harrogate (11 miles) and Thirsk (11 miles)
