Course Description The flat races of 1 mile or less are run on the straight course.
The oval shaped course is 1 mile 6 furlongs and is run right handed. The chase course has ten fences.
Facilities
The Members Enclosure
As well as access to all public areas, Day Member Badge holders have exclusive access to
the Members Stand, bar and restaurant facilities within this enclosure.
The Tattersalls Enclosure
Within this enclosure you have access to the main Grandstand, Parade Ring and Winners Enclosure.
There are a variety of bars and catering outlets selling food and snacks.
Directions
By road
Leicester Racecourse is easily accessible from the Midlands motorway network. Situated near Junction 21 of the M1/M69
and close to the A6/main outer ring road (A563).
By Rail
The racecourse is only 2 miles from the Main Leicester Railway station.
