Course Description
The undulating course is 1 mile 5 furlongs in length, pear shaped and run right-handed.
There is an extension on the home straight for the sprint races. The home straight is steeply uphill.

Allows you access to all ground floor public areas including the
Bell Hall of the Jubilee Grandstand with it's extensive bars and fast food outlets, Paddock Bar,
Pre-Parade and Parade Rings.
County Enclosure
Gives you the added bonus of being able to use the First Floor and
Upper Terraces of the Jubilee Grandstand, the Patterson Bar, and the Swifts Restaurant.
Directions
By road:
The Racecourse is two miles South of the City, with road access via the M6 Junction 42,
the A69 from the North East, or the A595/A596 for those travelling from the West.
There is substantial FREE car parking available with Trackside Parking also available at £10.00 per car.
By rail:
To Carlisle Station. There are always buses or taxis available from the city centre.
The Racecourse is only a short taxi ride from the station.
