Course Description
Rowley Mile
This course is used April and May and then September and October. The roughly L shaped course is run right handed
and is 2 and a half miles in length. The course is downhill from the start, rising sharply just before the bend.
July Course
This course is used June, July and August. Similar to the Rowley Mile course the 1 mile finishing straight has some
undulations and is slightly downhill, however, it rises 1 furlong from the finishing post.
Facilities
The Natwest Rowley Mile course is the grand stage - host to some of the best racing in the world during the spring and
autumn months, whilst the July Course is a heart stirring place of pure English countryside, garden party atmosphere
and top entertainment at the height of summer.
Executive Boxes
On the top level of the Millennium grandstand for up to 12 to 40 guests.
Hospitality Marquees
Alongside the race track adjacent to the winning post for 4 to 400 guests.
Restuarants
The Champions' Gallery and the new Summer House Restaurants accommodate 2 to 12 guests.
Directions
By Road
The A11 and A14 provide easy access from the major cities of East Anglia and from the M11 and A1 respectively.
By Rail
Regular commuter services run from London Kings Cross and Liverpool Street to Cambridge and Ipswich where onward
connections by rail or road can be made to Newmarket.
