Course Description
The course is approximately 1 mile 3 furlongs, is oval in shape and is run right-handed.
The back straight is downhill and the bend into the home straight is tight. The final 3 furlongs is
a steep uphill climb.
Facilities
The Members Enclosure
This enclosure has the Lawn Bar which is very popular as it has a garden area overlooking
the winning post. It is fully licensed. The Members Restaurant has
views over the track, also has its own private viewing balcony.
The Tattersalls Enclosure
You have access to the main Grandstand, Parade Ring and Winners
Enclosure. The Rapid Lad Bar is a traditional bar offering draught beers and lagers as well as hot and cold snacks.
The self service Restaurant has a varied menu. The Paddock Bar
overlooks the parade ring and race track. As well as excellent views it serves
quality beers and food. Through out
the course there is also a variety of take away fast food outlets.
Directions
By road:
For those travelling by road, follow the M62 to the A164 junction.
For those travelling from York, follow the A1079, from Bridlington and Scarborough the A165 to the A1035,
while from the south follow the A15, cross the Humber Bridge and join the A164.
By rail:
Beverley is located close to Hull, which has frequent direct rail services from all over the country.
A train service from Hull to Beverley runs every 20 minutes.
